How to Remove "Powered By Blogger" Attribution Gadget In Blogger

The attribution gadget is a gadget present at the blog's footer and says "Powered by Blogger". The gadget is locked; when you click on the gadget, you will notice that there is no Remove option Because the blogger officially locks the gadget. To unlock or remove this gadget, follow my steps carefully.

 

How To Remove Blogger Attribution Gadget


  • Log in to your Blogger Dashboard.
  • Go to Template > Edit HTML.
  • Now search for the below code.


<b:widget id='Attribution1' locked='true' title='' type='Attribution'>


  • Replace locked=’true’ with locked=’false’
  • Now save your template.
  • And then Go to Layout page.
  • Click on attribution widget.

 

  • Hit the Remove button, and you are done.

 

Alternate Method:-


  • Log in to your Blogger Dashboard.
  • Go to Template –> Edit HTML.
  • Now search for the below code.

  • Just Delete the code and Save your Template.
  • It shows you a message whether to Delete or keep this widget.
  • Click on the Delete widget.


That's all you have deleted the attribution link from your blog.
